  3. OfficeView 2.2 is an upgrade from version 2.0
  4.  
  5. New features available:
  6.  - Option to prevent users from changing another user's status.
  7.  - Evaluation versions can be registered and upgraded using a 
  8.    special coding system.
  9.  - More flexible installation. OfficeView is no longer 
  10.    restricted to run from the shared common directory.
  11.  - Can update the database without having to shut down the 
  12.    workstations. Adding and removing names and groups is 
  13.    detected by running programs and the menus are adjusted 
  14.    without needing to be restarted.
  15.  - Employee Information screen also displays cell phone, fax 
  16.    number, pager number, miscellaneous field, message flag 
  17.    showing employee has not read messages.
  18.  - Message system includes clipboard copy and paste, print, 
  19.    reply buttons; optional new message sound alert.
  20.  - Main program is instantly minimized by pressing on the 
  21.    space bar .
  22.  - Numeric keys directly display the corresponding group.
  23.  - Expanded reporting of error conditions
  24.  - Improved Help, more installation instructions.
  25.  - Trial versions start out with all commands available for 
  26.    easy assessment by evaluators. Once registered, all critical 
  27.    commands are restricted by password.

  32.  - Pop-up window and blinking icon when new message is received.
  33.  - Password protection to control access to administration 
  34.    commands.
  35.  - The display screen is scalable to several sizes on the screen.
  36.  - Pop-up window for each name will display additional 
  37.    information (e.g. telephone numbers, long remarks, whether 
  38.    mail was read, etc.).
  39.  - The message screens have been modified:  reply button added; 
  40.    message screens are wider.
  41.  - numbers of total and new messages received appear on the read message screen.  
  42.  - Automatically indicates IN when person starts the program.  
  43.    Option to automatically indicate OUT when the program is 
  44.    turned off.
  45.  - Both 16-bit and 32-bit versions available.
